I had a little Boston Terrier who had lost one of her eyes, eventually she ended up losing the other eye as well. She had a lot of medical issues and we had never left her with anyone since losing her eyes. She actually came with us everywhere. My daughter was moving up north and I couldn't take her with us. A Letter from Ripley's family;
Dear Jen and family;
(March 2020)
Thank you so much for taking care of our new puppy Ripley while we were away for March break this year! We were very concerned leaving her anywhere, due to her being barely over 3 months old in age. Normally we leave our pet with family if we go away; but she was too young and barely house trained for our non-dog-owners family to be saddled with. Further, we did not wish to subject her to some kennel somewhere, where she could be potentially exposed to uncaring staff, mean or dirty dogs, or left isolated for long periods of time in a cage.
Luckily, my wife found you online and we arranged a visit a few weeks beforehand with you at your nearby home. It did not take us long to see that you and your family have much experience with dogs and would provide a safe, caring, and interactive environment for our little girl!
Furthermore, your dog 'Doug' was a riot, as Ripley and he were playing with each other the whole time we visited! You answered all of our questions and allayed any fears we might have had for her.
We have since returned from our vacation, and were much more than satisfied with your service! We obviously made the right choice! We were overjoyed to get your regular updates and photos while we were away of our Ripley interacting with your family, both inside your house and outside as well. (You obviously took her on many walks to the park with Doug!)
Thank you for taking her in and letting her be a part of your family for the week! We were happy that she was happy and safe with you - (and she already misses her doggie playmate / constant companion)!

I have been so lucky to have Jen take care of my golden retriever while away on holidays for more than 1 occasion. Jen and her family provide the loving, safe, and caring environment that I wanted for Chloe. She gets the exercise she needs and the attention she craves. Jen sends regular pictures and text updates and I think that Chloe is actually smiling! You will rest easier knowing your pet is treated how you would treat them.
